*Edit: I was waiting for pictures of the weekend, but they are nowhere to be found*
Campathon was a couple weeks ago! So much emotion, laughter and memories shared. It was basically a 24 hour simulation of what would happen at camp. Camp for the volunteers. We went through dance, arts&crafts, rec games, and situational rotations. One of my highlights this weekend would have to be choreographing the last dance for our skit. We centered our skit off of Toy Story with Woody and his posse rescuing Buzz from Zurg's evil lair and our ending piece was the dance! Basically my co & I choreographed a short piece to "We found Buzz in a hopeless place." And the choreo wasn't all amazing, but the way my session talked about it, and tried to learn it, it made me feel really good about myself. It was the first time I'd ever taught a piece; never in my life had I felt the authority to even teach since the other dancers around me are super good. But I will take this chance to improve my dance skills this summer.
